About Hopedeck

Hopedeck is a free, privacy-first app that helps cancer patients and caregivers gather and understand their own health information — and find the questions worth asking their care team.

What it does

  • Aggregates your records from patient portals (via SMART-on-FHIR / MyChart) and file uploads into one calm, plain-language timeline.
  • Matches options to your tumor profile — clinical trials and treatments ranked by fit, drawn from a curated catalog and live ClinicalTrials.gov listings, with honest evidence status and a clear “why these aren’t a match” section.
  • A daily briefing of what’s happening in your specific cancer — across regulators, research, trials, and news, ranked by source authority.
  • Forward-looking watch list and questions to bring to your care team, generated on a model you control.

How to connect your records

  1. Create your private space (an email and a passphrase).
  2. Go to Records and choose Connect a portal, or upload a file (C-CDA or an Apple Health / FHIR export).
  3. For a portal, you sign in on the provider’s own page (e.g. MyChart). Hopedeck never sees your portal password; the access token stays in your browser.
  4. Your records are encrypted on your device and synced as ciphertext only.

How your privacy is protected

Hopedeck is zero-knowledge: your data is encrypted on your device with a key derived from your passphrase, which we never receive. Our servers store only ciphertext we cannot read. The AI features run on a model you choose — by default a local model, so your information stays on your device. Full details in the Privacy Policy.

Important — not medical advice

Hopedeck organizes information from your own records and surfaces options and evidence to discuss with your care team. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and is not a medical device. Always confirm with your care team. See the Terms of Use.
